Pride

I have seen many movies, I have known a many men, but most of my knowledge about Pride comes from my personal interaction with such characteristic. The love of one's own excellence is one way that it has been subscribed. In a way I agree with this and in other situations, I am able to disagree. Someone can have positive pride that has a positive affect on themselves as well as others, and then there is a sense of pride that can cause harm to ones relations as well as eventually to themselves. Pride wont allow you to ask for help, admit your mistakes, or truly love. Some people connect pride to pain, using pride as shield, protecting yourself from a hurt that was experienced in your past. I don't know though, that's just my opinion.

Today is one of my favorite peoples birthdays, one of my best friends, my life partner. Words can't express the gratitude and love I have for you. You truly may never know how much I adore and appreciate you, but on your day I want to wish you a very happy and memorable birthday with all the love and wholeness I have in me.
